WoW Item Upgrades
Item upgrades--more commonly known as "upping"--are items and enchantments that can be incorporated into armor and weapons and increase their power. These upgrade components add a number of points to the level gauge for the item, with the cost scaling with their rarity.
The melee PvP scene is highly influenced by a perfectly rolled version of armor due to its ability to reduce damage from weapons.
Type-restricted upgrades

Upgrades are an essential part of the equipment crafting process. Upgrades can be used to enhance the stats of an item or make it stronger or give it an additional benefit. They can also change the appearance of an item. Certain upgrades are universal, while others are governed by specific rules for weapons and armor. The wrong upgrade could ruin an item that is otherwise excellent, and could even render it useless.
As a rule, you can only upgrade the equipment you have to the level of its top-level counterpart. This means that you are able to upgrade the helms, body armors and shields and gloves to the level of their top-of-the-line counterparts. Weapons however can be upgraded to the level of a sword. This does not increase the weapon's power of damage and can reduce its trade value.
To upgrade an item you need to purchase flightstones and crests. The amount of each depends on the item level and slot. For Casesgg upgrading a sword will cost more flightstones than upgrading bracers or a cloak. You may also get discounts on the amount of flightstones or crests required to upgrade an item.
When you upgrade an item, it fills its diamond-shaped indicator. Each step increases the item's Tier by one-third. The highest level of Tier is Tier 3. Depending on the item it will take a different number of upgrades to reach this point. It is essential to note that any procedures that might be used to mount a disk shouldn't be run during an upgrade. In addition, you need to ensure that the disk you are upgrading is not being used as a system disk.
Enchantment lets you change white or Common items to blue or rare ones. It is possible to do this at Eleanor's enchantment shop in the Capital District. This process does NOT add a gem or rune slot to the equipment. However it alters the dimensions of the equipment. It increases the equipment's size by the size two categories smaller. For example the size of the size of a Stormtrooper armor is Medium, and a Blaster Pistol Small.
Universal upgrades
Universal upgrades are upgrades that can be made on any kind of equipment. This includes weapons, armor and trinkets. Upgrade components can be obtained through Random drops or side quests. Universal upgrades can be temporary or permanent and they may overlap with Power-Ups. They can be linear or branching.
Universal Upgrades start when "internal technology" can give sentient beings new capabilities they are not likely to develop in natural ways. Examples of internal technology are implants or prostheses. This kind of upgrade is different from medical internal technology that is designed to restore the natural capabilities. It is rather the beginning of an upgrade process that changes civilizations in a fundamentally different way. The universal upgrade is a complicated procedure that can take an extended time to complete. However, the process can be divided into two distinct classes: full success and partial failure.
It's similar to how resort upgrades work at Disney and Universal. In the case of WDW it is typically due to operational requirements such as room availability or overbooking. In the case Universal this could be a case of moving guests to another resort that is open. This is not intended as a sarcastic comment, but in the current climate it may be impossible to avoid.
Universal upgrades can be utilized on any kind of gear. They can also be applied to several items at a time. They are therefore more adaptable than any other upgrade type. This flexibility can be problematic when upgrading items on a particular gear path. It can increase the item levels of all items on the path.
Before you upgrade, it is important to stop PowerShell Universal and delete any existing application files. Then, you can install new files by using the GetChildItem-Recurse command, or Unblock-File. It is also recommended to perform a basic checks against your PSU server to ensure that it functions correctly.
Jewels
Jewels are enhancements that can be put into armor, weapons and other accessories. They provide various stat bonuses and other effects based on the gem and reagent that is used to make them. They are found in Golden Chests, Rift Incursions as well as V Blood Carriers, and regular enemies. They can also be purchased from a Master Craftsman for gold or karma. Jewels can also be crafted at a jewelry table using 1 gem and 5 of the same ingredients to create a jewel of a higher or lower tier. This process is similar to upgrading a gemstone with the use of a gemcrafting table.
Jewel tiers are determined by the number of modifiers they possess. Higher-tier jewels have more than lower-tier jewels. The primary effect of a gem is determined by the tier it's in, and the secondary effect is random players can use luck potions to increase the probability of having better secondary effects.
Like other upgrade components jewels can be put into an item with an appropriate socket to boost the. A Garnet Jewel and a Garnet Stone both boost the strength of an item but a Garnet Jewel also boosts a player's ability to strike with force. Jewels can be put in all weapon, armor and accessory slots. They can also be used with some exotic trinkets, or lesser rarity trinkets that need the use of a slot.
Gems are a specific mechanic for DMs that helps to make items feel special to their owners. With a range of different upgrade options gems let players alter their equipment to find the combination that best suits their needs. They can upgrade their gear with new gems in the event that they feel the existing set is no longer suitable.
Requirements
The WoW item upgrade system allows players to raise the level of their equipment, weapons and trinkets above their current level of item using specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords Of Draenor resources. These upgrades boost the stats of items and some even have special effects. (For example Dolphin's grace gives swimmers dolphin-like grace). Players can obtain these upgrades at any upgrader NPC, or by rescuing them from items that contain them, with a variety of items dropping different upgrade components.
The upgrade process can be a bit difficult however, it's not difficult. Firstly, the player selects the item they want to upgrade and click on the Upgrade button. A window will appear with the different upgrades that are available for that item. This window will display the upgrade level, the upgrade type bonus (such Tech Points or a Quality Chance) and the cost of upgrading. The bonus for upgrading will be displayed below the bar that displays the upgrade level.
The user will have bring the item to the upgrader, who will explain the process of upgrading the item. The player will then need to provide the appropriate currency needed for the upgrade and may be asked to provide additional items when needed. These requirements are determined by the level of the item. Weapons have more stringent requirements as compared to armor.
Many upgrade recipes include a list of 'Acceptable Material' in addition to the components required. This list includes the other upgrade components that can be used to upgrade an item. It also contains an indicator that tells you whether or not it has an assured boost. It is important to be aware because the value of an upgraded item may differ significantly based on the 'extras' it comes with, with properly roll gear worth more than non-upgraded versions.
The list of upgrades that require valorstones or crests will be listed in a separate list below the main list. The amount of crests and valorstones needed depends on the item's level. Upgrades to weapons require the most Valorstones.
